Why we’re over just talking about money
Now if you’ve been following Social Cactus for a while (Not friends? Make sure to click follow so we can hang out in the DM’s), you’ll know that we LOVE money.
And we also really love talking about it too.
But what you may have noticed is that we’re talking about how much money we’re making less and less (despite our bank account growing!).
The thing is, what we’ve realised is that success comes in SO many different ways for different people.
The more clients we help the more we see that the money is a powerful FACILITATOR.
When we ask potential clients why they want to work with us, they might say to ‘earn more money’ initially but the real motivation is:
More choice, more freedom, more opportunities, more potential, more fulfilment and more impact.
The money enables them to do what they truly want to do.
Like, live their best laptop lives swinging in a hammock with a piña colada in hand (we actually did a press article about this here about why over at Social Cactus, we promote remote working and have team members from all over the world!).
Or, it might be to spend more time with their kids or families without the guilt and pressure of working 9-5 or their boss breathing down their necks.
And for some people, success is being able to take a long lunch break with friends, enjoy a midday soak with extra bubbles or be able to take their dog for a walk in daylight.
